Any one on here hacked there ps3 yet? it can now be done - blackcat hack, so im told, 5 rips out so far, i want to start grabbing them, but want to hack my ps3 1st. found this -

Requirements:
PS3 (on fw 3.41)
Blackcat USB
Flip Software (i used 3.3.1)
Psgroove teensy 1.0 Hex file Teensy 1.0 w/ Manager.pkg
Manager.pkg file
External USB Drive
Original PS3 Game Disc

1) Put the Blackcat USB in DFU mode by flipping both switches to the 1 an 2 positions.

2) Push the button on the board and look at Device Manager, if it shows up as AT90USB162 you're in DFU mode.

3) Open Flip and select target device AT90USB162.

4) Now go into Settings and select a communication medium, choose USB. Your Blackcat's info should show up.

5) Go to File, hit Load Hex File, and choose the Teensy 1.0 hex file.

6) Erase, Blank Check it, and write the Hex file onto the chip.

7) Hit the verify button to make sure it went through ok, if so just hit the "Start Application" button.

Load the Manager.pkg onto the external drive. (Formatted FAT32)

9) Go to your PS3 and do a complete power cycle. (Turn off completely with switch on back.)

10) Plug in your Blackcat USB, turn on the switch in back.

11) Power on your PS3 and hit the eject button immediately. (This is the part most people mess up.)

12) If you did it right, you will have two folders on your XMB. One that says "Install Package Files" and another "/app_home/PS3_GAME/".

13) Plug in your USB drive with the Manager.pkg file. You should now see it in the "Install Package Files" folder. Run it. You should now have Package Manager installed.

14) Install your original PS3 game and run Package Manager. It will ask you whether you want to load it or back it up. Back it up!

15) After a few minutes you'll have a copy of the game showing up. Select it and it will load it to the XMB menu.

16) Hit the game icon and Play!!!!!!!!! ENJOY!!!

PSFreedom for Nokia N900 phones to jailbreak the PS3.

this is how it works!

1. Download the torrent, extract it, and copy the files to your N900 into /root.
2. To enable, type: ./psfreedom-enable.sh
3. Unplug or switch off your PS3 completely killing the power.
4. Connect your N900 to your PS3 via USB.
5. Boot your PS3 using the power button quickly followed by pressing the eject button.
6. Now you should see Package Manager in the XMB allowing you to install and run unsigned code.
7. To disable and return your N900 to normal, type: ./psfreedom-disable.sh

PSGroove
This is the PSGroove, an open-source reimplementation of the psjailbreak exploit for AT90USB and related microcontrollers.

Board-specific notes
Teensy boards only have one LED, so it will turn off when the exploit succeeds rather than turn green. Older Teensy 1.0 boards also have the polarity inverted. In general, a LED should do something when the board is powered, and do something different when the exploit works.

Building
On Linux, use the AVR GCC toolchain (Debian/Ubuntu package: gcc-avr). On Windows, WinAVR should do the trick.

Twelve (2010) is a riveting comic drama based on a novel written by Nick McDonnell, Twelve tells us about White Mike, a teenager who is a high-school drop-out and is now peddling drugs to make some fast money. It revolves around the lives of Mike in the posh locality of Upper East Side in New York.

The movie is released August 6th across the USA and will reach other countries in the coming weeks. Mike makes money by selling mar!juana to the rich spoilt kids who are home during their spring break, and have some money to spend. He is juggling with his double lives when his cousin is found murdered. His best friend is accused and arrested for this crime, and this is when his life becomes topsy-turvy. If you have not yet read the novel, then it is worth noting that it was written by Nick when he was just seventeen years old.

The cast is lead by Chace Crawford, who does mighty well to prove his acting skills. He is supported by Ellen Barkin, Emma Roberts, Kiefer Sutherland, Nico Tortorella, Rory Culkin, 50 Cent and Charlie Saxton. Director Joel Schumacher has done a good job as well. The screenplay has been penned by Jordan Melamed.

This is great movie to watch – all the more, as it is true to the novel. It essays characters which are surreal, and can be related to by any seventeen year old. It has its comic moments too, and they ensure that the movie does not seem drab, even for a moment. It is worth a watch.
